As many of you know the situation with adoptions in Guatemala has been underneath the microscope. Our hearts are breaking for all those in process of adopting and the children waiting to be united with a forever family. I truly believe this is another way God is working in a very dark and hurting country - using all of us to reach down deep into our souls and do something for each child waiting and those about to be born - help Him find their way to Him!
The burden that each family is carrying now that is in process whether it be waiting for a referral, for PA, or to enter into PGN is a pain I don't wish on anyone - please remember them and their child in your prayers.

There is something ENORMOUS YOU CAN DO NOW. And the time to act is TODAY.
The children of Guatemala need our help and so does every family about to begin the adoption process or already begun. I don't believe walking away from this countries children is the answer - there is no place for them if everyone decides to abandon this country over political agenda. Here is what we can all do!
Sign the online petition. I emailed this to everyone in my address book, so some of you might have seen this already.

This is the link to download letters to your Senators and Representatives. It is quick and easy. Five minutes of your time could make all the difference! All I can think about are the children we saw living on the streets on our visits to Guatemala and begging for money. I can't imagine how many more children will be left on the street or even worse, join a gang for survial if adoptions are terminated.
