June already??

Just a little over a week until we leave to finialize Makayla's adoption! We're gonna take the girls to Sea World while we are there. Makayla pulls herself up constantly and loves to walk around the furniture. When she falls she gets right back up and never sheds a tear. She is such a happy baby. She wakes up smiling every single morning.

Prayers for Vincent

I met Jennifer in 2005 when we signed with our Guatemalan agency. She was waiting to bring her daughter,Sofia, home and I was waiting for Maegan to be born!!

She has beautiful son,Vincent. He started having leg pains in April while on vacation. When they returned home, they made an appointment and heard the words no parents want to hear. Your son has cancer.

Maegan loves to feed the giraffes. She gets a kick out of their long tongues wrapping around the cracker when they take it from your hand. I had no clue their tongues are up to 20 in long!

Maegan still has her heart necklace and bracelt her Guatemalan boy friend Matthew sent her for her 1st Valentines Day! When we were getting ready, she said she HAD to wear it!

Maegan loves going to the zoo to look at the animals and reptiles. It wasn't too hot so they were pretty active and that was awesome!

All better now! When we were discharged from the hospital, she came home and took a nap. When she woke up she wanted to play on the floor. So daddy put her down and off she went! Crawling like she's been doing it for weeks! I couldn't believe it. Crawling is getting old, so she is pulling up on stuff and trying to take steps.

I started a new job 2 weeks ago and I really like it. Makayla has gotten her 2 bottom teeth. She sits up for a good while before she loses her balance. She loves to lay on her belly and she scoots around kinda like Army crawling to get where she needs to be.
